KARACHI: Huge cache of weapons were recovered by rangers from a store room at the city’s Safari Park, in a raid conducted early morning on Tuesday.
According to media reports, this was stated by a Sindh Rangers spokesperson who said that the raid was conducted on intelligence-based information.
According to the statement, the weapons were intended to be used to create unrest in the metropolis.
Weapons found at the spot included anti-aircraft guns, rifles, SMGs, LMGs, hand grenades and snipers. Moreover, a large quantity of different types of bullets and cartridges were also recovered from the location.
The guards of the park were immediately detained for interrogation.
