ISLAMABAD: A decision has been made that Maryam Safdar, the daughter of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, will contest from NA-48 Islamabad and a constituency in Lahore in the next general election. According to media reports, rumours about fielding Maryam as PML-N candidate on National Assembly seat in the upcoming general election had been circulating in the political circles. Putting the rumour mill to rest, the PML-N leadership confirmed that Maryam would contest the next general election as a PML-N candidate from Islamabad NA-48 and a constituency in Lahore.
