ISLAMABAD: The population and house count in the second block of phase one under the 6th population and housing census started today in sixty-three districts across the country.
The Chief Census Commissioner Asif Bajwa said the house listing operation in the second block will begin today and continue for three days while the headcount will begin from April 3 which will continue till April 13. Moreover, homeless people will be counted on April 13, he added.
The operation has begun in 63 districts of the country, which include 6445 blocks of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 125 blocks of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), 20,188 blocks of Punjab, 9180 blocks of Sindh, 2814 blocks of Balochistan, 1222 blocks of Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) while 360 blocks of Gilgit-Baltistan.
