KARACHI: Human Rights Network’s President Intikhab Alam Suri and Akhtar Shagufta Anees on Friday vowed to bring the struggle for Aafia release to its logical end.
While addressing a joint press conference, the human rights activists said that Aafia is innocent and she was abducted from Karachi. They said that they marked 31 March as black day to show the solidarity with the daughter of the nation.
They blamed the government for lingering her in a United States (US) jail for many years. They also held the government responsible for missing a golden chance for her release. They demanded of government to make efforts of her early release.
