KHANEWAL: Lady health workers in Khanewal continued their 16-hour long protest outside District Commissioners Office and CO Health office on Sunday.
The protesters have staged a sit-in, over not receiving their permanent job orders.
The LRH says that they will not call off the protest until the CO Dr Fazal Kareem issue the orders to hire the workers on a permanent basis.
The protesters have claimed that only orders of those employees are being passed who have bribed the authorities.
“We are poor people, how can we give bribes to these senior doctors? This injustice and bullying should be stopped.” said the LRH.
The protesters have demanded Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Khanewal Deputy Commissioner to take notice against the corruption of the authorities.
