SRINAGAR: In Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK), at least one youth, identified as Mohammad Abbas, was shot dead and many people were injured after Indian forces opened fire on protestors in Delwin area of Charar Sharief in Badgam district on Sunday.The youth was martyred after protests erupted in the area in retaliation to that the firing by Indian forces on protestors. Four youth were hit by pellets in Batru area of Chari Sharief. One injured youth is in critical condition.

The injured have been shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment.“Situation is highly tense in Chadoora, Chrar-e-Sharief and Beerwa areas,” a police officer confirmed, he said clashes are right going on right now, in at least five places in Budgam district alone.
