KARACHI: The residents of Karachi Administration Society, a posh locality within constituency premises of PS-114, have announced to fully support Pakistan People’s Party’s candidate Senator Saeed Ghani in PS 114 by-elections.
Khalid Noor, Chairman Karachi Administration Association and Kashif Shaikh, Vice Chairman at an Eid Milaan reception hosted in honor of Saeed Ghani here on Monday night made such claims.
Addressing the ceremony, Saeed Ghani warned the MQM to stay away from tussle, as, he said, he knows how to ensure their safety and security during elections. “MQM knows me well and I know them there should be no doubt”, he warned.
Ghani said that his election campaign is going smooth but competition among competitors could be felt. “At present MQM suffers internal rift, so how can they defeat PPP,” he said.
Saeed Ghani said he asked for army deployment. He also claimed that PPP workers are being harassed.
He criticized Sindh Governor and said he [governor] has converted governor house into PML-N party office.
He appealed to the masses to come out on July 9 in large number to cast the vote sensibly. In past members of national and provincial assembly, Mayor, Town Nazim, health Minister and education minister were from one party but they did not do anything for this area including construction of roads, improvement of sewerage system and supply of potable water.
Khalid Noor while addressing the participants said that the people in such a large number have already given decision in favor of Saeed Ghani. Kashif Shaikh, former general secretary of PPP Iqbal Yousuf , President PPP District West Iqbal Sand and others were also present on the occasion.
