ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) dissident Zulfiqar Khosa Wednesday said that he was in contact with scores of ruling parliamentarians who were ready to quit the party after the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report that jolted the ‘House of Sharifs’. “The same situation exists in Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) ranks and you will see that loads of PPP and PML-N members will defect to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in coming days,” Khosa said while talking to the media. When asked how many MNAs he was in contact with, the PML-N dissident puts the figure at 70. It will be a big setback for the ruling PML-N, he said. “In 1993, the PML-N was left with only 31 members from Punjab out of 228,” he said, adding that the history is likely to repeat itself.
