ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi has summoned former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his sons today (Saturday) to record their statements in Al-Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investment cases.
The NAB Rawalpindi on Friday decided to file supplementary references against ex-PM Nawaz Sharif and his sons in Al-Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship Investment cases in the accountability court, which is already hearing three corruption references against him and his family members. The NAB will record the former prime minister statement, therefore, he was summoned for appearing before the accountability court in Rawalpindi.
The reference was drafted under the supervision of Irfan Mangi, a member of Panama-Joint Investigation Team (JIT). Sources said that both supplementary references would be filed in the accountability court.
