LAHORE: Pakistani wrestler Muhammad Inam on Saturday won a gold medal in 86-kilogram category of free-style wrestling at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Australia.
Muhammad Inam defeated Nigerian counterpart Bibo 6:0 in a one-sided contest by scoring 2, 2 and 1 technical points and then finished off with another point, while his opponent failed to trouble the scorecard.
Earlier this week on Thursday, Pakistani wrestler Mohammad Bilal won the Bronze medal by beating his opponent from England at Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
Bilal took the victory over his opponent George Ramm with 3:1 on points. In Initial matches, the Pakistani wrestler defeated Gary Giordmaina (Malta) and Charles Fernando Divoshan (Sri Lanka).
However, he lost the semi-final against India’s Rahul Aware.
