LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif has given approval for installation of LED streamers in the city and other major cities of the province.
The CM gave this approval while chairing a meeting to review progress on various steps taken for the beautification of province’s major cities, including Lahore. He gave instructions that all necessary steps must be taken on immediate basis for the installation of LED streamers.
The CM said for the beautification of cities, the concerned institutions should adopt new and innovative techniques to beautify the cities. Cities could also be beautified by horticulture and for spreading horticulture, “We need to learn modern techniques,” he added. Senior PML-N leader Khawaja Ahmad Hassan, Lord Mayor Col (r) Mubashar Javaid, Lahore division commissioner, PHA director general, LDA director general, Lahore deputy commissioner and other relevant authorities also attending the meeting.
