KARACHI: Senate Standing Committee for Finance Chairman Qaiser Sheikh called on Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair to discuss the overall economic situation of country, including Sindh.
During the meeting on Wednesday at Sindh Governor House, both of them discussed the steps taken for enhancing investment opportunities in Sindh.
Zubair said that the environment is conducive for investment in Karachi as the law and order situation has improved a lot.
He said that we are endeavouring to pursue better economic strategies and adopt reforms to carve out a prominent place for Karachi on the global economic map. He added that senate standing committees are also playing a pivotal role in this regard.
