MUZAFFAGARH: A Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) team shot and killed at least six alleged terrorists during an operation in the PP link Canal Road area on Friday.
The CTD personnel were taking a suspect, Imran, to confiscate weapons when his accomplices started firing at the force near PP link Canal Road. The CTD retaliated and gunned-down six terrorists, while three fled the scene. The bodies have been shifted to a local hospital for identification.
The CTD claimed to have seized five hand grenades, four rifles, three pistols, and other weapons. Police have started a search operation for apprehending their accomplices.
