ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) leader Senator Farhat Ullah Baber has said that the party has stuck to its decision about convening All Parties Conference (APC) on March 4.
Talking to media after meeting with PTI’s central leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday, said that PPP would float some proposals during APC, but each party would decided on its own.
“We had already decided that all political parties of the country including PTI would be invited in proposed APC adding the object of the conference is to make broad based consultation on military courts.”
Shah Mahmood Qureshi on this occasion said that National Action Plan is not being implemented. The situation of law and order of the country did not change and country was facing the same kind of problems, which it faced two years ago.
“PTI chairman would be informed about the invitation of PPP to attend the APC. He said that if the proposals presented by PPP would be applicable then they should be included in the bill”, Qureshi added.
He further said that consensus was developed on various issues during the meeting. He informed Farhat Ullah Baber about PTIU’s stance on the issue as difference of opinion is the part of negotiation.
