ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry on Monday extended army’s stay in the federal capital for three months.
According to a notification issued by the interior ministry, the extension was granted on the request of Islamabad Chief Commissioner.
350 troops were deployed in Islamabad under article 245 of the Constitution. They have been present in the federal capital since 2014.
