LAHORE: The College of Physicians and Surgeon Pakistan (CPSP) Tuesday arranged a Basic Life Support Course for under-training doctors and representatives of pharmaceutical firms.
More than 200 participants, including doctors and representatives of pharmaceutical companies, were given the training of the Basic Life Support Course under the supervision of CPSP President Prof Zafarullah Chaudhry, Prof Mahmood Ayyaz and Prof Abrar Ashraf Ali, said the CPSP’s public relations officer.
In the second stage, nurses, paramedical staff and students of school and colleges will be provided training on dealing with emergency situation such as heart attack.
Speaking on the occasion, CPSP senior Vice President Prof Khalid Masood Gondal said that the CPSP was expanding the horizon of Basic Life Support Course to the general public.
This training course was arranged in collaboration with the American Heart Association.
