KARACHI: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh AD Khowaja issued a high security alert across Sindh after a bomb blast on Friday at a market in Parachinar that claimed more 22 lives.
According to Sindh police spokesperson, IGP Sindh ordered all SHOs to increase patrolling in their respective areas and keep vigil on any suspicious activity. He also instructed police officers to remain in contact with other security institutions in order to facilitate and improve the exchange of information among them.

Khawaja issued directives to increase snap checking and establish check-posts at the entry and exit points of the province. He called upon all SSPs and other officials to ensure proper maintenance of law and order in their respective areas.
