ISLAMABAD: Rain and dust-thunderstorm occurred at scattered places in KP, Rawalpindi divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir, while at isolated places in Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan during the last 12 hours.
Rain with dust thunderstorm associated with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad Divisions, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan while at a few places in D G Khan, Multan, Sahiwal divisions during the next twelve hours.
However, heavy falls may also occur at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara and Kashmir divisions.
There is a risk of flash flood and land sliding due to heavy falls in vulnerable areas. Hailstorm is also expected in parts of Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Upper KP and Kashmir.
Temperature of some major cities recorded on Wednesday morning was as follows: Islamabad sixteen degree centigrade, Lahore twenty, Karachi twenty-seven, Peshawar seventeen, Quetta and Muzaffarabad twelve, Gilgit eleven and Murree six degree centigrade.
