LAHORE: Dense fog blanketed major cities of Punjab and Sindh disrupting the routine life.
The fog continued to run the rule in Lahore, Pindi Bhattian, Faisalabad, Kharian, Gujranwala, Multan, Okara, Mianchannu, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Sukkur and adjoining areas due to which visibility in these areas was low on Wednesday.
All the motorways and National Highway roads leading to Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Bahawalpur, Okara, Pindi Bhattian, Kharian, Mian Channu, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur and nearby areas witnessed low flow of traffic due to poor visibility conditions on Wednesday.
The motorway police have asked the public to avoid any unnecessary travelling and to exercise extreme caution when driving, utilising fog lights and avoiding cell phone usage during driving.
