KARACHI: A young girl died and three other pedestrians were injured when a speeding passenger bus ran over them on Friday.
According to reports, the bus which had no authorisation to ply its trade on the streets, was speeding on University Road when it hit the student as well as three other passersby near the Urdu University stop.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital while the driver, identified as Imran Gul, was arrested.
Police said that the man had neither a driving licence nor an identity card in his possession.
