KARACHI: At least one person was killed when firing took place inside the Consulate General of Afghanistan in Clifton area of Karachi on Monday afternoon.
The incident took place when the consulate’s guard opened fire, killing an official, Muhammad Zaki. However, the guard was arrested.
According to security forces, the incident is suspected to be a result of personal enmity.
The police and Rangers personnel cordoned off the area when the fire shots were heard.
