ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has accused Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif of ruining state institutionsby indulging them in corruption.
Speaking to media on Tuesday, Imran claimed that several people from PML-N were in contact with his party. “We will decide on the right time about who should be inducted.”
Apart from that, he said that several people were trying to join PTI. He called for reforms in national accountability to arrest rulers involved in corruption.
Turning his guns on the government, the PTI chief said that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had confessed money laundering to protect the prime minister.
He grievedthat facts were being distorted to protect the PM from corruption charges. “It’s an old formula of PML-N that they resort to violence in view of an impending defeat,” he said.
Those who stole a few thousand rupees were languishing in jails, while plunderers of national wealth were roaming free, said Imran.
